The main classification of low NOx burners
1. Heavy oil burner, gas burner, and dual fuel burner (light oil/gas or heavy oil/gas)
2. According to the operation and mode: the Europa burner has one stage, two stages, progressive two-stage, and progressive two-stage, with a proportional regulator (the latter achieves proportional adjustment operation)
3. Industrial Burner Series: All high-power burners designed specifically for special industrial applications.
4. Classification based on combustion technology to reduce NOx
Burners are important equipment in industrial fuel boilers and gas boilers. It ensures stable combustion of fuel and complete combustion of fuel. Therefore, in order to suppress the production of NOx, it is necessary to start from the burner. According to the combustion technology for reducing NOx, low nitrogen oxide burners can be roughly divided into the following categories:
Graded burner
A staged combustion chamber designed based on the principle of staged combustion allows for staged mixed combustion of fuel and air. Due to combustion deviating from the theoretical equivalence ratio, the generation of NOx can be reduced.
Self circulating burner
One method is to use the pressure head of the combustion air to suck back a portion of the combustion flue gas and mix it with the air for combustion in the burner. Due to flue gas recirculation, the heat capacity of combustion flue gas is larger, the combustion temperature decreases, and NOx decreases.
Another type of self circulating burner is to directly recycle a portion of the flue gas in the burner and add it to the combustion process. This type of burner has a dual effect of suppressing nitrogen oxides and saving energy.
Concentrated burner
The principle is to fully burn some of the fuel while the other part burns too lightly, but the total air volume remains unchanged. Due to the combustion of both parts deviating from the stoichiometric ratio, NOx is very low. This type of combustion is also known as deviation combustion or non stoichiometric combustion.
Split flame burner
The principle is to divide the flame into several small flames. Due to the larger heat dissipation area, the smaller the flame, the lower the flame temperature, thereby reducing the "thermal reaction NO". In addition, the small flame shortens the residence time of oxygen, nitrogen, and other gases in the flame, and has a significant inhibitory effect on "thermal reaction NO" and "fuel NO".
Mixed promotion burner
The residence time of flue gas in high-temperature areas is one of the main factors affecting the generation of NOx. Improve the mixing of combustion and air, thereby reducing the thickness of the flame surface. Under constant combustion load, the flue gas is at high temperature on the flame surface. Shortened the residence time in the area, thereby reducing the amount of NOx generated. The mixed promotion burner is designed based on this principle.
Low NOx pre chamber burner
Pre combustion chamber is an efficient and low NOx staged combustion technology developed and researched in China over the past decade. A precombustion chamber typically consists of primary air (or secondary air) and a fuel injection system. Fuel and primary air mix quickly. A rich fuel mixture is formed in the main combustion zone of the precombustion chamber. Due to lack of oxygen, only a portion of the fuel burns. Fuel releases volatile substances in a flame zone, with low oxygen content and low flame temperature, thus reducing the generation of NOx.
